This Broad Agency Announcement (BAA) is issued to provide an opportunity to partner with the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) and other Federal agencies to acquire high-resolution 3D elevation and hydrography mapping data through the 3DNTM Data Collaboration Announcement (DCA). The 3DNTM DCA partnerships efficiently and effectively leverage funding to respond to the documented and growing need for high-quality elevation and hydrography data, which significantly benefit Americans across an array of applications like infrastructure planning, discovery of critical minerals, energy development, and disaster preparation and response for severe weather events, earthquakes, landslides, and other emergencies. Project submissions are invited from applicants who wish to partner through the 3D Elevation Program (3DEP) opportunity or the 3D Hydrography Program (3DHP) opportunity to fund lidar or hydrography data acquisition through the USGS Geospatial Products and Services Contract (GPSC). Federal agencies, state and local governments, tribes, academic institutions, and the private sector are eligible to submit projects. The Government will review applications based on the evaluation criteria identified in section VII of this opportunity.
